Describe the product

Include the model, important specifications and a budget if you have one. “iPhone 15 Pro 256GB under $650” works as a starting point. Choose where you want to shop; Lebanon is the default. Products appear inside PurpeScout from its own catalog. The current catalog contains 2436 dated listings across 32 sources, observed October 8, 2026. It is not a whole-web search engine.

Check the matches

Product cards show a dated, source-backed price observation, specifications and source link. Compare up to three products inside PurpeScout. A text match label is not a guarantee of suitability. Click View offer only when you want to visit the retailer.

Verify before you buy

Search snippets can be out of date. A reported price does not confirm stock, delivery, warranty, taxes or the exact product variant. Open the store’s page and verify the final cost and seller before paying.

When information is missing

Budget filters apply to observed prices in the same currency. Unknown condition or currency is labelled rather than guessed. Stock is unconfirmed. Products outside the current catalog will not appear. We cannot guarantee finding every available deal or the lowest price across all stores.

Legacy licensed image sources are retained for audit and attribution. They are withheld from product cards until the exact variant is confirmed. Approved reference images are explicitly labeled; category illustrations are not product photographs. No endorsement is implied.

Device-local information

Theme preference and up to five recent search requests are stored in your browser. You can clear history here or remove this website’s browser data. Avoid including personal or sensitive information in product searches.

Search processing

When live search is connected, your product query and chosen location are sent to the search provider. The pilot server keeps temporary usage counts, popular queries and error information in memory; they may reset at any time. IP or authenticated identity may be used for short-term abuse limits. Search responses are not cached unless provider storage permissions have been confirmed.

Retention and your choices

Guest history is limited to five recent requests on the device. Signed-in accounts have up to 100 history entries and 100 bookmarks. Account history is removed after 90 days during account use. Bookmarks and profile information remain until you delete them or delete your account. You can request a copy of your account information through support, edit private details under Personal details, or delete your account under Security. Authentication limits store hashed technical identifiers for short-term abuse control. Operational counters may reset between instances. Hosting and identity providers may retain security logs under their policies. Use the Cookies & storage page to erase local PurpeScout data, and contact us for questions about access, correction or deletion of information we control.

Marketplace information

Seller profiles, published listing descriptions, selected location, uploaded photos and the phone or contact email you deliberately add to a listing are public. Account email is not automatically used as a public contact. Drafts, saved native listings, moderation notes and reports are private. Seller uploads are stored with permission/source metadata and image metadata is stripped where supported. Listings expire after 30 days; you can pause them or mark them sold. Suspensions hide a seller’s listings. Uploaded content and records remain while the account exists unless removed; contact support for earlier deletion. Account deletion removes Marketplace database records and makes uploaded photos inaccessible; residual storage objects are deleted where the storage service is available. We record bounded listing view and signed-in contact-click counts for seller analytics, not confirmed sales.

Accounts and payment

PurpeScout has its own accounts: email, display name, preferences, a password hash, a recovery-code hash, server-side sessions, search history and bookmarked links. Passwords and recovery codes are not stored in plaintext. Email ownership is not verified. Recovery email requests are queued until an email service is connected; requests remain until reviewed or account deletion. Administrators can review account email, account status and recovery requests, but cannot view passwords or recovery codes. Administrative changes are recorded in an audit log. Authentication uses an essential Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookie. There is no customer billing or paid subscription today.

Product images

Available catalog photos are fetched through PurpeScout from approved public sources. Our server requests the source image; product previews include attribution for licensed illustrative photos. Merchant photos require reuse permission. Missing or failed photos are labeled.

External stores

Offer links open third-party websites with their own privacy and purchase terms. Store links may include PurpeScout referral tags so retailers can identify where a visit came from. PurpeScout counts aggregate store-link clicks without storing visitor identity in that counter. No affiliate commission or sponsored ranking is active. Your request is shared with a search provider only when live search is connected. Essential hosting/security services may process technical request data under their own policies.

What Scout does

PurpeScout helps discover and compare online product sources when its search service is connected. Scout links to external stores. The separate Marketplace hosts seller listings. PurpeScout does not currently process payments, sell the listed items or guarantee sellers. Basic browsing is free. Paid plans and credits are proposals and cannot currently be purchased.

Results and purchase decisions

Results may contain outdated snippets, missing prices, incorrect product variants or unconfirmed availability. We do not promise every offer, the lowest market price, retailer authenticity, delivery or product quality. Verify the source, condition, warranty, final price, taxes and shipping before you purchase. A match label describes text relevance rather than an endorsement.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully. Do not bypass access controls or rate limits, scrape the service at abusive volumes, submit malicious content, impersonate another person or attempt to access another user’s data. We may restrict abusive requests and temporarily pause search to protect the service and its operating budget.

Accounts and availability

Optional sign-in uses your own PurpeScout credentials. Keep your password and recovery code secure. Features and sources may change, and live search can be paused or unavailable. We will describe unavailable functions clearly. Guest links and history reside in your browser and may be lost if browser data is cleared. Account bookmarks and history are stored server-side and synced when you sign in.

Content and third parties

Product names, trademarks and source content belong to their owners. Source links do not imply affiliation or sponsorship. External websites set their own purchase, privacy and return terms.

Marketplace listings

Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, lawful items, availability, contact information and permission to publish real listing photos. Do not list illegal goods, stolen items, weapons, counterfeit goods, controlled substances or exploitative content. Drafts and submitted listings are private until reviewed. Approval is not verification or a purchase guarantee. Reports may lead to removal or account suspension. Arrange transactions directly with the seller; business sellers remain responsible for applicable consumer rights and their disclosed return policies.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not provide a blanket waiver of liability. Contact us about a problem so we can investigate; any applicable mandatory law and competent dispute process continue to apply.

Changes

Material changes will update this page’s effective date. Separate price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms must be disclosed before any future paid transaction is offered.

PurpeScout is currently free

PurpeScout does not currently accept payments, sell subscriptions or sell credits. There is no paid PurpeScout plan to cancel and no PurpeScout payment to refund. Any displayed prices are future proposals, not active checkout offers.

Purchases from stores

When you follow a source link and buy a product, the transaction is with that store. Contact the retailer for order cancellation, returns, warranty claims or refunds. Check its policy before paying. Your mandatory consumer rights remain applicable; PurpeScout’s policy does not replace the retailer’s obligations.

Unexpected charges or payment requests

If someone claims to collect payment for PurpeScout during this free phase, do not send money based on that claim. Contact Ali.mohamad12524@gmail.com with the merchant name, transaction date and a redacted receipt. Do not send full card numbers or passwords.

Before future paid launch

We will publish the billing period, renewal rules, cancellation method, credit handling and applicable refund/withdrawal rights before accepting any payment. Failed deep-search operations are intended not to consume paid credits. We will not treat this future intent as a currently delivered service.

What PurpeScout stores locally

We use browser storage for your theme, up to five recent successful requests, saved source links and onboarding preference. Local storage is different from a cookie, but both can keep information on a device. Saved prices are not automatically refreshed.

Essential platform storage

The hosting and identity platform may use essential session and security cookies. Signing in is optional for free research. PurpeScout sets an essential authentication cookie when you sign in. Clearing local data does not remove server-side account information; export or delete it from Account. We do not currently add advertising cookies, marketing trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

Your controls

Clear history or saved sources separately, or erase all local PurpeScout preferences below. This does not delete your identity-provider account, platform cookies or external store data. Use your browser settings and the provider’s controls for those.
